Bob Murguia and his '68 Hemi Roadrunner
Bob Murguia is a Marine American Patriot who served with distinction in Viet Nam. Here he points out his face in the graduation ceremony picture for his unit. After this graduation, Bob went on to become a Marine Machine Gunner and shipped off to Nam. During his tour there he was wounded on more than one occasion but did not leave the field during battle.
After leaving The Corps, Bob spent some time getting to know America again. When it was time to enter the work force Bob became a lawman serving in various jurisdictions including the Wichita Police Force.
Bob has had a lifetime love affair with MOPAR. He has owned many of them including the subject of our interview, his 1968 Hemi Roadrunner.
If you ask 10 guys for the first thought that comes into their mind when you say "Muscle Car", probably 6 of them will say "Hemi". Bob's Hemi is a "driver". He takes it out on occasions and always drives it to the car shows he attends.
Bob's Roadrunner has original wheels...
...and original decals... (it even has a Roadrunner "beeping horn")
The lines of the Hemi Roadrunner are sleek and unencumbered. It's simple, elegant design coupled with it's massive power guarantees it's place in the Muscle Car Hall of Fame.
