Ladies and Gentlemen Aviators,

Furious, Glorious, Indomitable, Courageous, Indefatigable, Formidable, Audacious, Illustrious, Implacable, Victorious – these are not just the names of Royal Navy Aircraft Carriers of the Second World War, these are also the qualities of the pilots and aircrew who flew fighters and attack aircraft from their dangerous decks. Vintage Wings’ friend Hugh Pawson, who died two weeks ago, was one of those great young boys – an Illustrious Hero. Click HERE to learn more.

  1. Hey Brian…

That guy was born in 1922! So flying must be good for you!

    • Dear Bruce,
That’s for sure. You need to get into it. Walnut Valley is a huge sport aviation center. Sacramento is too, for that matter. Some of the finest Classic/Vintage planes are on the West Coast. Of course I am meaning all the way down to South of San Diego to all the way North to Washington State.
